Glensheen Christmas Tours 2020

Christmas tours at Glensheen Mansion are offered from Nov. 13 to Jan. 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guests can check out the 25 Christmas trees and hunt for 25 hidden elves on the self-guided general admission tour. All tours are family-friendly, with health and safety measures in place, and include all of the most famous rooms in the mansion. Highway 61 Revisited

KUMD 103.3 FM’s Highway 61 Revisited is a one-hour radio program dedicated to Bob Dylan’s music, airing weekly on Saturdays and Mondays at 5 p.m. Host Miriam Hanson presents Dylan’s music, including live and studio performances as well as different versions of his songs performed by other artists. The program was launched by John Bushey, who hosted it for 25 years. He died in February 2018 after a long battle with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

UW-Superior Alumni Holiday Ball 2020

The UW-Superior Alumni Association’s annual Holiday Ball is a virtual affair this year. For decades, the association has been hosting an event to begin the holiday season and raise funds to support UW-Superior students and alumni. The event is open to everyone, regardless of one’s connection to the college.

Make Jelly Eye Makeup

Participants in this workshop will make a container of jelly eye makeup, choosing from more than 100 color options. Jelly makeup applies like a gel, but sets like a powder, leaving behind a satin glow without the slip and slide typically associated with liquid and cream highlighters. It is based on hyaluronic acid technology, which is a foundational amino acid skin uses to protect against environmental damage and moisture loss.
