The Cross City Trail is intended to connect the Willard Munger Trail and the Duluth Lakewalk, providing a path for recreational use but also giving people the opportunity to commute by bike from West Duluth and Lincoln Park, Downtown Duluth and Canal Park. Saturday’s Ride, Walk, Roll event will traverse the newly-completed segment of the Cross City Trail called the River Route. Join in-person or virtually.
Zeitgeist’s Bus Bike Walk is a month-long series of community events that celebrate, educate and encourage people-powered modes of getting around — for work, errands, recreation, shopping and school. Usually held in May, Bus Bike Walk is being celebrated in October this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As opposed to previous years featuring large events, keynote speakers, and group bike rides, this year Zeitgeist is focusing on education, virtual events and ways people can get out and about on their own. All in-person activities will require masks and enforce social distancing measures.
