Learn how to combine bike riding with bus commuting and practice using Duluth Transit Authority bus bike racks. It can be a little nerve-wracking trying to learn to use the bike racks when boarding the bus, so this event allows people to try it out in a low-pressure environment.
Zeitgeist’s Bus Bike Walk is a month-long series of community events that celebrate, educate and encourage people-powered modes of getting around — for work, errands, recreation, shopping and school. Usually held in May, Bus Bike Walk is being celebrated in October this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As opposed to previous years featuring large events, keynote speakers, and group bike rides, this year Zeitgeist is focusing on education, virtual events and ways people can get out and about on their own. All in-person activities will require masks and enforce social distancing measures.
