In this month’s discussion, we are going to be presenting basic security training across multiple topics. You will hear from an expert in the field, Sean Williams, as he discusses general awareness and identification of threats that are applicable to pretty much anyone that uses a computer!
Sean Williams, Director of Security
As Involta’s Director of Security, Sean Williams has spent the last 14 years providing project management, design, implementation, testing, monitoring and maintenance services for both Involta’s customers and internal infrastructure. Williams currently manages all internal and customer facing security products for customers worldwide.
Prior to joining Involta, Williams worked for five years as the Director of Information Technology at Iowa Eye Care in Marion where he oversaw management of all technology-related activities and researched the feasibility of emerging technologies in the healthcare sector. He also managed all budgetary requirements and concerns, vendor relationships and internal business interactions with the Information Technology Department. From[masked] Williams handled network availability, reliability and performance activities for The Freedom Group.
Williams has expertise on a wide range of IT solutions and services. He currently holds certifications in ISC2 (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and Cisco (Cisco Certified Network Professional).
