This trip is intended for Duluth area residents but anyone can participate.
Purpose of this trip is to clear several miles of the path from the trail head going north toward Pose Lake. Last fall there were roughly 400 treefalls in a three mile long segment of the trail. Clearing these dead falls out of the way will make it easier for the four day backpacking crews to reach their trail maintenance are later in May – less fatigued from climbing over treefalls and with more energy to accomplish their work. Through your work, you will help others.

Safety is our number one goal.
